My Story
My name is Gloria and "Flan de Gloria", a play on words on "Pan de Gloria" a Cuban sweet bread, is the name of my business.
I was born in Cuba and migrated to the US in 1970 as a toddler with my parents. I learned my way around the kitchen from my mom who still cooks at 90! Sweets are my passion. In particular, flan. I've been making flans for over 15 years. When we go to family or friends get together everyone loves my flan and the question always is "Why are you not sharing this wonderful desert with the rest of the world?"
So after all these years, "Flan de Gloria" was born. I think you will taste the love and passion I put into every flan I make in every bite.
Like my Aunt Rita says "eso si es un flan!”
Hope you'll enjoy it!
